چکیده
Global warming is a result of the greenhouse effect caused by gases released into atmosphere; It usually expressed as an increase in measured average temperatures. In addition to this, extreme weather events such droughts, floods, and severe hurricanes become more frequent, specified severe. The effects global climate change on hydrological meteorological variables are increasing day day. Therefore, hydro-meteorological parameters should be examined carefully. this study, Hirfanli Dam Basin temperature series were investigated using Mann-Kendall Test Sequential Mann–Kendall Test. annual mean six stations recorded between 1965 2017 analyzed evaluated. has been determined that increased throughout basin significant increases started since 1990s. Researches analysing related increased. These studies may investigation trends with different methods, well their relations atmospheric indices North Atlantic Oscillation Southern Oscillation. Hirfanlı Basin, which shows semi-arid characteristics, especially drought disaster investigated. detection, these conducted integrated management perspective order prepare for disasters. With management, it will resilience disasters plans all components together effective against many disasters, drought.

Appendix: Mann-Kendall Trend Tests
Kendall Rank Correlation Let (X1, Y1), · · · , (Xn, Yn) be a bivariate random sample of size n. The Pearson correlation coefficient provides an optimal measure of the degree of association between the X’s and the Y ’s when the sample is drawn from a bivariate normal distribution. The Pearson correlation coefficient is reasonably robust for many other distributions as well. The Kendall correlati...
متن کاملMann-Kendall for autocorrelated data
The Mann-Kendall test is a commonly-used nonparametric test for time trend. However, the standard P-values obtained from it are based on an assumption of independence between observations (since the theory is that of the Kendall correlation). However, observations in time series are often autocorrelated: knowing that one observation is larger than the mean may tell you that the next observation...
متن کاملClimatic elements, discharge and groundwater trends over time using Mann-Kendall Test in the Mighan Sub-basin of Arak
This study was an analytical research across 84 meteorological stations, performed in the Mighan sub-basin over a fifty-year study period (1961–2011).This research seeks to answer the basic question of how declining streamflow, increasing temperatures, and fluctuation in precipitation have impacted water resource allocation in the Mighan sub-basin. The research method is analytical based on Man...
متن کاملA Sliding Window Mann-Kendall Method for Piecewise Linear Representation
Piecewise Linear Representation has been widely used to compress online data which are collected by sensors. However, the current existing methods, including Piecewise Aggregate Approximation and Perceptually Important Points cannot own both advantages of calculation speed and recovery accuracy at the same time. In order to improve the Piecewise Linear Representation performance, this work prop...
متن کاملTrend Analysis of Groundwater Level, Using Mann-Kendall Non Parametric Method (Case Study: Tabriz Plain)
Studying the trends of water table in any region especially in arid and semi-arid regions is an important issue. This study focuses on assessing groundwater table changes in Tabriz plain. For this purpose, non-parametric Mann-Kendall test is used. In studing groundwater level the information of 14 pizometric wells in the period of 1991-2013 was used. Significant levels of 1, 5 and 10% were used...
